General Information
The Department of Civil Engineering will not accept or review paper applications (with the exception of Concurrent Program studies). All applications must be completed using the On-Line Application system.
Applications are now being accepted for Fall 2010 admissions.

Tsunami damage to a coastal resort in Thailand. Professor Dalrymple, with an ASCE team, examined tsunami damage shortly after the disaster to examine lifeline damage and to see what construction survived better.

Katherine Acton took an unusual route to obtaining her MSE in Civil Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. As an undergraduate, she majored in English (her honors thesis was in creative writing) and also mathematics.
